Sarah Angold Studio launched its latest Sci-Fi inspired collection at Premiere Classe as part of Paris Fashion Week 2012. References to Ridley Scott's Blade Runner are softened with feminine art deco influences for the women's jewellery.
Each piece is handmade by Angold and her team in their East London studio. Intricate constructions made of tiny brass watch bolts, solid silver, gold and cast acrylic can take up to a day to build. With most runs capped at thirty, every limited edition piece is engraved with its production number.
Angold's structural and geometric graduation has become a recognizable signature, and her use of laser cut acrylic remains industrial yet elegant in her latest collection.
