Abby's love of making began in her father's carpentry workshop;

"Fascinated with the tools I watched on as Dad renovated the family home. I would say the workshop environment  has always been a great inspiration to me. Specific tools, machinery and work benches offer an unbounded  opportunity to create."

Abby has enjoyed learning and making ever since, having shared studios with many top jewellers  in London and Brighton, honing her skills in Hatton Garden and gaining a degree in Jewellery Design at Central Saint Martins before establishing her own workshop  in the centre of Lewes in 2012.

Abby's inspiration comes from her travels and the beauty of traditional tribal adornment

 Drawing inspiration from art and adornment of ancient civilisations and travels in Africa and Asia, Abby chooses to use untreated natural gemstones  sourced from artisan mines worldwide, traded initially through indigenous people. With the timelessness of true craftsmanship Abby hand-makes all her pieces using traditional skills.

The resulting gem rich collections have a reworked classical aesthetic, offering a simple opulence to the wearer.
